pass me the moneyyyy, hurhur
to me, cny gets boring-er and boring-er each year as i grow up man seriously.
when i was young and small, every cny was really spent visiting people including my dad's nurses, friends(!! one of them gave a $50 angbao!! $_$ HAHA!), my aunts, uncles blablabla......
and all my cousins and us were like damn close and all cos yea, small what so can play with each other more easily and all. even without CNY there was still visiting every now and then!
then as we grow up, my family started to go Msia to eat/shop every CNY and then the cousins arent that close anymore. haha SAD! partly becos the age gap is really big la. like there arent many cousins that are ard our age which is between 17-22. they're either still 13 or younger or older than 23. hahaha
then today, this sec1 cousin came over then he still asked who am i. WHO AM I!?! HELLOO i played with u like crazy when u were SO SMALL!!!! still ask WHO AM I??! what siall, idiot..... HAHA jk.
and we dont visit my dad's friends anymoreee! =(
besides that, this year was made even more sian cos my sis's in Melbourne, dad gotta go back to work yesterday(!! who says being a doctor leads a good life? stupid other doctors who dont wanna work on CNY) and so, we cant go Genting/Msia this year. SIAN!
those years... i miss!
so even though the angbaos get fatter as we grow, the atmosphere and all dies off. BOO....
anw i saw the news on ESPN the other day then i realised how pple in UK celebrates CNY. theirs like even more grand than ours sia. like thousands of pple will gather just to see Frank Lampard and i dunno who light up the lightings in their country. mann, i must go and witness one of these in the near future! like damn cool. hahaha
