hello

i'm back i'm back i'm back!!!
when i stepped out of SG's airport i was sweating like a pig already. omg sg's so hot!! i miss the weather in Melbourne! ;(
okay here comes my oh-so-very-long post about my trip! be prepared or feel free to click the X on the top right hand corner, hahaha

okay! day onee:
reached Melbourne early in the morning at 5am and went straight to Pirui's house to put my luggage. fucking cab fare was fucking 52bucks ok!! AUD!! the cab fares here are crazy, they prolly jump twice as fast as Sg's ones -.- ltr on we just roamed around the streets which happens to be the city area actually just that we didnt know, haha but anw it was SUPER quiet and empty becos it was easter day! holiday for everyone you see and it's not like singapore where everything still operates on public hols. everything was closed! no sch no business no nothing! so we could only walk randomly and ate breakfast at Hungry Jacks. it's basically Burger King but becos there's another food outlet that's alr named after BK so they had no choice bt to name themselves Hungry Jacks instead. damn stupid, AHAHA. okay so anyhow went back to his house and made friends with this China girl, Ah Qian who is actually pirui's housemate(Deborah)'s classmate. nice girl! and ltr on a few Dentistry students came over becos they're supposed to have tuition next door. i felt tuition's a very singapore thing and i didnt expect they actually have tuition there, haha anw it's such a small world becos they happen to know my sister and one of the girl was my sister's senior back in HCI. see how many singaporeans u have in melb!
checked into our hotel in the noon and went to the Factory Outlet at Spencer St. bought nothing though LOL. walked back bathed and walked back down to the casino area. COOL PLACE! the whole thing looks like Sg's boat quay! bt cool stuff. anw we walked all the way there just to eat KFC and Mac's -_-

day two!
woke up early in the morning to visit Queen Victoria Market!
i likeee, cheap stuffs everywhere but again i didnt buy anything LOL. we ate at this cafe where u can sit and face the road kind and omg it looks so cool can!! HAHA like u know, so enjoy life and so drama. i'll post a photo of it!
then we trammed to St Kilda's beach. u may think aus's beaches are full of pple and super happening, but no!! it was SO empty! no idea why! anw the tram system in melb ROCKS. u can go everywhere with it and u can buy a ticket for 5bucks with the daily saver and u can travel unlimited the whole day, trams + trains! bt it's expensive if you don't travel far enough becos u can just walk basically. since the beach was empty, we trammed back to the city and shopped! i bought lots of clothes ;D OH let me tell you how melb shopping is. to me, it's like PARAGON almost everywhere dammit. becos the things are sooo expensive here but they're real nice thou! if only i had the money........ haha ok anw my stuffs were cheap! ltr at night we went to eat Gelato at Lygon St. their Gelato is like HUGE ok! prolly 3 x as much as Sg's serving of Gelato. i nearly puked eating!

day 3:
went to see KOALAS, KANGAROOS and PENGUINS!! i got cheated becos i only saw TWO kangaroos. kns i thought we were going to some kangaroo farm or smth! hahaha. the koalas were superr cuteeeee. and the penguins were the ULTIMATE cuties! it's at Phillip Island and u can watch these creatures waddle up from the sea into their homes. oh mann, soooo cute ok! they're damn tiny btw, like prolly only 40-50cm tall? i wanna bring one home!

day 4!
went to this HUGE shopping centre, Chadstone! and we bought manymanymany stuffs there. omg we felt super satisfied after shopping there! ate thai food for dinner at Lygon with pirui, deb and rodelle. anw Lygon St is this street where food is everywhere! the food in Melb is good btw just that one meal cost at leasts 7bucks AUD. met another new friend of rui, Daryl. another SJI boy, haha and while walking home, we decided to crash his apartment and slack. ended up cabbing home at 5am! haha

day 5!
went to Brunswick. a street full of shopping! i like those kind of street shops u know u know! i think its damn nice, i likeeee. bought a shirt for my brother there only, heh
crashed rui's house at night again. did i mention i love his apartment? it's sooo nice ok!! see the photosss

day 6!
went to Bridge Road! another street full of shops, hahhaa. only bought a shirt for my dad and we went back to the hotel to sleep, HAHA. we trained back btw. there's this intercom thing at the station where u can press and find out bout the train timings. so i pressed and the thing started dailing super loudly ok!! then i was like OMG did i press smth wrong? so i went to press the red button beside it(the other button was green btw) and it didnt stop so i pressed again. then suddenly this aussie girl ran towards me saying "NONO! thats for Emergency!!" then i realised i forgot to read the sign below that says for emergency press the red button. SO PAISEH OK!! AND u know what's so fascinating about their trains(MRT)? the doors are MANUAL! HAHAHAHHAA. there's this knob at the door and u have to open the doors yourself! SUPER funny i tell you. and i didnt know it's auto close so i went to close it manually, omg like so suaku! woke up at 9 for dinner and that's it!

day 7!
went queen's vic in the morn to get nougats! yummmmmyy. and got a belt for my dad too at 10bucks only! i swear the leather doesnt look like it's only 10bucks, haha went to the city ltr on and shopped again! bought stuffs for emily and minqi bought me this bag for my birthday present! love itttt, thankyougirllll =)) watched Stomp the Yard at 15AUD. their movie tickets are 2 times as expensive as singapore's! but whatever, the show rocks laa. -inserts the song they always sing here- i forgot the lyrics! went back hotel and packpackpack! stayed over at rui's for one night becos minqi was leaving at 8am the next morning. haha sent her off and i went back to sleep!

day 8!
went to find my sister at her hostel. her room's actually nice lor bt she says it's becos she alr cleaned it, haha anw went to the city alone to get my mum a bag and a shirt for mw. i alr felt so settled down in Melb u know! like i was alr living there for good, hahahaha. yea went back and ate dinner at Papa Gino's at Lygon St again with my sister. it's pizza btw haha. and ate Brunetti again! it's a cake shop where the cakes are so-omg-so-nice! as in the big ones. the small ones we ate weren't that nice =x and went back to the hostel cos my sister had to study and so i spent my time on her laptopppp.

today!
woke up early and toured Melb uni! i so lovelove those victorian looking buildings la! it's a mixture of modern and victorian buildings bt the victorian ones are really niceee. and there's this bigbig green lawn(?) where my sister says people will sit there and picnic. so drama right right! like u only see them on tv =x then went to the city to get my KRISPY KREMES and sushi! they were fucking heavy btw. i had to walk back carrying that heavy shit! i was saving on the tram card you see, to give my sister. i didnt expect it to be so heavy! and then airport and then plane and then here i am sitting back at home in Singapore.
I MISS MELBOURNE!

i like how the places in melb are so near each other that everywhere is so accessible! the weather there is unpredicatable though. it can get really hot in the noon and really cold at night. but at least it's better than sg's =p
i like how u won't feel out of place becos there are so many asians around you feel as though u're back in Sg. hahaha.
i like the food!
and i bought like erm, 5 tops, a skinny jeans and 2 pretty shoesssss for myself! =DD
heehee, okay the post's long enough. i'll let the photos do the talking tmr! too tired to post them today..
